3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 8oz. package cream cheese softened
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 Granny Smith apple
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup oats
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter, melted
12 individually wrapped caramels
1 tablespoon heavy cream
OR salted caramel sundae topping
How to make Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars
Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in an 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
Step 3: Add the brown sugar, melted butter, and graham cracker crumbs in a small mixing bowl. Use a fork to mix.
Step 4: Transfer the mixture into the greased baking dish. Press suing your fingers.
Step 5: Add the cream cheese into the bowl of the electric mixer. Beat for 2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
Step 6: Add in the vanilla, egg, and sugar. Continue beating until combined completely.
Step 7: Spread the mixture evenly on top of the crust.
Step 8: Add cinnamon, brown sugar, cloves, and nutmeg in a medium bowl. Stir until well combined.
Step 9: Peel the apple and cut it into small pieces. Toss them into the dry ingredients and coat them completely.
Step 10: Transfer on top of the cheesecake layer.
Step 11: In a separate bowl, add the brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, flour, and melted butter. Stir until well-mixed. Sprinkle on top of the apple layer.
Step 12: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 13 to 40 minutes or until the color turns golden.
Step 13: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool.
Step 14: Once cool, put it inside the fridge to chill for 1 hour.
To make the caramel drizzle:
Step 1: Add the caramels into a microwavable bowl then put inside the microwave and allow it to melt for 30 seconds.
Step 2: Add in the heavy cream. Spread the caramel sauce on top of the cheesecake.
