Satisfy your cravings with this Hershey Bar Cake. The combination of all the ingredients is amazing. Treat yourself and your loved ones with this simple and easy to make dessert. A dream of all chocolate lovers out there. Every bite is simply heaven! It is insanely delicious. A crowd-pleaser and a staple at potlucks, gatherings, even holidays. The layers of chocolate with cream cheese frosting and chocolate ganache are everything!

I am crazy over this cake, first because I love Hershey’s and it is a no-fuss dessert that I can make whenever I want to. It tastes super good, I don’t settle for just a slice.

WHAT YOU NEED

1 box German Chocolate cake mix

1 3-ounces box instant vanilla pudding

3 large eggs

1/3 – 1/2cup oil (depending on cake mix brand)

1 1/4 cup water (depending on cake mix brand)

1 8 oz cream cheese, soft

1 scant cup granulated sugar

1 12oz frozen whipped topping (I couldn’t find 12oz and used 9oz)

1 scant cup confectioners sugar

1 cup chopped pecans (or nuts of choice)

1 giant Hershey bar, grated (not regular size)

HOW TO MAKE HERSHEY BAR CAKE

Step 1: In a bowl, combine the cake mix, vanilla pudding, eggs, oil, and water according to package directions. Beat until the mixture is smooth.

Step 2: Once smooth, pour the mixture into two greased and floured 8-inches pan. You can also spray the pans with something like Bakers Joy as an alternative before pouring in the cake mixture.

Step 3: Place inside the oven and bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes.

Step 4: Once done, remove from the oven and let the layers cool.

Step 5: Use a stand-alone mixture to beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar. Mix for about 20 minutes before adding in the confectioner’s sugar. Continue to beat until smooth. Then, fold in the whipped topping, chopped pecans, and grated Hershey bar.

Step 6: Frost both layers with the cream cheese-Hershey glaze. Enjoy!
