Strawberry Pretzel Salad

This was the first thing I saw and I am so glad that I tried it because I never would have known how amazing this truly is! Give this one a try and taste it yourself. Enjoy!

Ingredients

For the Pretzel Crust

3 1/2 cups pretzels, crushed

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Cream Cheese Filling

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sugar

8 oz cool whip, or whipped cream (stiffly whipped)

For the Strawberry Jello Topping

1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

2 cups boiling water

6 oz strawberry jello powder

How to Make Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Prepare a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.

Step 3: Put the pretzels inside a ziplock bag and crush them gently.

Step 4: Add sugar and melted butter in a medium mixing bowl. Stir until well-mixed.

Step 5: Transfer the crushed pretzels into the butter and sugar mixture. Stir until completely coated.

Step 6: Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Press on the bottom part of the dish.

Step 7; Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes or until cooked through.

Step 8: Remove the dish from the oven and let sit on a wire rack to cool to room temperature.

Step 9: In a medium mixing bowl, pour boiling water and add jello powder. Stir until the powder is dissolved completely for at least 1 minute.

Step 10: In a large mixing bowl, add sugar and cheese. Beat until the texture becomes fluffy.

Step 11: Add in the cool whip and use a spatula to mix.

Step 12: Serve and enjoy!
