The perfect salad for us trying to eat healthy! This is not only a healthy meal but also a very delicious bowl of heaven! This has always been my go-to-food every time I try to cut off from greasy meals. This was introduced to me by my best friend. She is a dietician and every recipe she gave me was the best. It is always the same formula. Eat a lot without guilt! I feel a lot better every time I eat this amazing salad. It is very satisfying even though there is no meat in it. I don’t know but this recipe is a complete meal. For those of you who love sour food, you will love this I promise! Always serve this salad cold because once it gets warm, I don’t really like very much but for some of you that would work but not for me, I guess. I can’t oversell this enough to you. I can only say that it is perfect and very delicious because it is! By the way, feel free to add more quantity of the ingredients if you want to. Also, I read that sour cream works for this recipe as well instead of the vinegar. 3 medium cucumbers, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
3 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
1/4 cup oil
How to make Marinated Cucumbers, Onions, and Tomatoes
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, add the cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, vinegar, sugar, salt, black pepper, and oil. Stir until all ingredients are well blended.
Step 2: Place the bowl inside the fridge and allow it to chill for at least 2 hours.
